Tow Vehicle

I am looking to buy a used SUV to tow my Z21 Donzi. I am looking at either a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Denali (2003 – 2004). Anyone have suggestions which is better for towing….

Denali has the 6.0 as well.... AWD was std in the Denali, optional in the Escalade, both are overpriced and depreciate like rocks... there is an awesome '04 Burban with a 6.0 for sale on OSO right now, 18,000 miles and MINT, if I was in the Burb market i'd be on the phone with this guy PRONTO.

One thing for you to consider; do you need 4W low range to get up an unusually tricky ramp (grade and/or terrain/traction)?

I believe both vehicles are all wheel drive only without low range.

If that's an issue, you may want to expand your search.

If I were looking for an SUV, I would take a long look at the Toyota Sequoia. You won't find a better built, more reliable machine. has the cool factor of the landcruiser, you don't see one everywhere like a GM, and it'll pull Rhode Island. Did I mention it's reliable?

My G-friend Has A 04 Denali With A 5.3 In It,my Sis Has A 05 Denali (the Bigger One Burb Legnth)with A Cast Iron Head 6.0 300 Hp. My Bro Has A Caddy 6.0 Alu Head 345 Hp....they Will All Do The Job..
