Getting ready to install thru-transom exhaust on my C18 project. The t/t holes from the original engine installation (unknown) have been filled. Current config is a SBC with an Apha One. Holes are to be cut for new Stainless Marine tips.
Here's the problem: when routing the exhaust hose with the standard 'drop' off the riser, the Mercruiser power steering actuator interferes with the starboard hose's run to the transom.
What is the prefered solution for hose routing? How about other options? (At this stage, I'm trying to keep this simple and not go with an external ram.)
