460 King Cobra to Volvo 280???

I'm tired of the problems with the OMC drive and have a lot of Volvo stuff and was wondering if it's possible to make this drive switch? As far as I know Volvo never used a BBF with a 270 to 290 drive and are any bell housing and couplers avalible to make this swap?

What problems w/the omc? If you want to get rid of it and have a good lower I would make you an offer on it. Let me know, please.

I second that. Don't go to a 270/280/290. The old AQ series are not nearly as efficient as your present OMC. You will loose speed and struggle with props. Volvo SX is recommended and fits in your same transom cut out and uses your present OMC prop(s).
