Recently I removed the tips and hoses (which may be original and 20 years old) and noticed they were blistered on the inside. So obviously it's the right time to replace them.
What does anyone know about the blue silicone hose I've seen?
Any opinions?

:spongebob Ya mean like this stuff here?

It's to be more flexible, a bit thinner walled than traditional, but it has been terrific and adds the right hint of blue against the solid white transom don't you think?

I also believe ya need a different type of clamp to not tear through it, my guess as it spreads the compression out more to avoid damaging the softer hose, I can get more specific info if ya need it George...but I am almost positive on the different type of clamps.

It's also more expensive, although it may have come down over the last 24 months....not that much has!

Good Luck, I vote go for it!
