I didn't know DONZI ever made an 18 outboard. Weird ad. Lists the top speed as 35 Knots, and apparently this DONZI has the rare 110V and plumbed to the engine, water heater option.

How's the boat coming? Is your avitar of the 67? With a new paint job?

You may have me confused with someone else. My avitar is actually a 1979 18 2+3, original paint. I just used photoshop to get rid of the hull. It was a crummy picture, so I got ride of most of it. I don't own that boat anymore (:bawling: ), but figured it would be good to have a past DONZI avitar.

THAT boat can't be real. There is only one that was ever known of, and it was in Fla. Was an ad boat, appeared yellow and white. ??? It is BEYOND rare, and for it, or a re-painted/upholstered/powered one of "it" to be in the Netherlands is a bit far fetched.

It is far fetched when one is even found in Miami.

Just say N20, your boat reminds me of the one that that other fella was looking to re-locate when he unforntunately got "separated" from her by his Father as a youngster. Did this boat have a teak floor installed?

Lenny,
No teak floor in that boat. Interestingly, the title said it was a 1979, but the hull number was DMR186471178. I sold it in 1997 to a guy who lived over in the Detroit area. He is listed in this registry as the owner, but it says he has owned it for four years. I sold it to him in June of 1997, which means he registered it here in 2001. I don't know if he still owns it or not.

Guys,
this boat is in Curacao, the Netherlands Antilles, and yes it goes a lot faster than 35 knots. This boat was converted to an outboard and it is one of the best jobs I have ever seen. The boat has undergone a complete rebuild, is very fast, and very well maintained.
