Sure looks like a bit of the (centre) console poking up there and the foredeck is the same as mine ... I'd say you know what it is then !

damn @#!$ the disadvantages of being 1200 miles away ;) :)

You should see how it feels when you can TRIPLE that number :(

Its a 68' went to see it. Its NFSale. However I left my phone # just in case. Solid condition needs total redo. Transom has been shut to make way for smaller drive I presume. It has a center console and yes I asked. It is a DONZI. We'll see if the owner calls.

When you go back , check to see if it still has the lifting rings on it.
If it is a real one (not a clone) and is of the same vintage as mine the lifting rings will be the ones with 'horns' on them and have a square base. They will be stamped "Donzi Marine" .. This of course assumes that , like me , you never find a hull number ...
And Yes Lenny , I too know that 'distance' thing !

I really beleive it is the real deal. I knew it when I walked up to it. I have seen a St. Tropez before and there was no difference. But Poodle could be right, I do have limited experience with the older boats. I didnt ask the guy if it was a Donzi. I played stupid and asked him, "what make is it" wait wait.. I was in Hialeah... What I really said was.." De que marca es?" He told me it was a Donzi and then proceeded to tell me that Donzis suck and he had a "Real" boat to sell to me. (21' Seabird). Not a bad boat but in no realm does it compare.
