Actually, I was wondering how the Northeastern Yankee types handled the weather. Looks like some of ya'll got hammered.

Went out, did some shoveling, came back inside to some warm hot chocolate and popped in a video of the hurricanes pounding the South.

A few feet of snow every now and then is actually a nice experience.

i'm here just north of annapolis, md.
we got 11" of the heaviest snow i've ever seen; my 7' leyland cypress trees were laying just about flat to the ground. LOTS and LOTS of trees and limbs down. i had to remove 3 , 10-12" dia. pine trees off the county road just to get out of my driveway. i lost power sunday 9:30 AM and just now got it back..... lost all the food in my fridge, at least i was smart enough to put the beer in the snow.
i spent last evening watching the fire in the woodstove, eating baked beans and listening to XM radio, just like the pioneers.

We head south! I was in Ft Lauderdale this weekend and missed it this time.

Saturday was beautiful however sun and mon was chilly.
