I am trying to find someone Steve can trust to do a GREAT install of dual Latham or IMCO on his Aronow 22 (Shelby  ) So, I ask the folks in the Pacific Northwest website if they can recommend anyone, and yes, they have a few names. But then this pops up.

Seems, Craig, in Vancouver, the fella with the Z-33, and a BIG project on his hands, and a fellow woodworker, has done this...I was wondering when it would happen. Just a matter of time I guess. Seems a trip to Vancouver is in order now.

I would love to know the story on this build. The zz572 is not really a good marine motor, it need lots of mods, which it looks like he has already done. I would love to hear the whole story.

Yep, I've been wondering the same thing. That motor is cheap for what you get.

Lenny, do you know who all sells Latham here out west?

I just called Latham but they were busy getting ready for the Miami show. I called Teague and all the sales guys were busy with other customers. I've also asked Poodle if he sells parts. I'm looking for the parts to make my single ram Latham a dual ram.

Yep, I have researched this myself. Cam needs to be replaced, exhaust valves replaced with inconel, intake with severe duty, valve guides honed and clearances checked, lifters replaced, valve springs replaced, head gaskets of course, larger oil pan and some oil pump mods, and the big one the entire motor needs to be disassembled and ALL clearances checked and increased as necessary.
