i was thinkin the same thing.. as if i don't have enough on my plate as it is... but for the price hell i could have someone toss a tarp over it for a bit for me ;)

How'd you ever come across the listing? I never search Danzi, myself.

Huh?!? You've never heard of the boat company named after Dan Aronow?

You've got to get out of the northwoods and travel more!!!

i had a brief opportunity to see this boat yesterday. this is a case of "it is what it is"
it is mid 60's ; the emblem was the " donzi marine " script that was rivited on, now missing. the package consists of hull and deck only - no hard ware of any kind at all, except the trailer it is on which is marginal at best but, the tires are holding air.
the deck has been removed and the core has been cut out; the wood in the transom has been cut out also. the deck was set back on the hull and project abandoned. i haven't been able to determine much else due to the accumulation of crap.
the general shape and condition of the exterior surfaces (including the bottom) are rather nice ; that is if you look past the paint build up and the chunks of mud stuck to it where it was sitting on the ground.
in my opinion , this boat is priced right at $200. ; assuming the buyer knows what they're looking at and, shipping / transfer costs are MINIMAL.:crossfing
well, it's time to see if the snowblower still starts, we're expecting 12" of snow tonite. at least NASCAR is back :checkered :yippie:

Looks like an Alpha outer transom plate next to the shot of the cushion, for anything under 1K it is a deal.

i'll be glad to help.
this boat is being stored about 5 mi. from my home.
here's the deal ; if no one buys this thing , it's worth the $200. to me just to put it on the to-do list. (frankly , i'm not sure i'd go $225. / and i can get it home free ) ........ FYI:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

Nothing for nothing...but for $200.00 what would someone expect. I love the questions the seller gets....More pictures!:smash: Give me a break....it is what it is and expect the worse. For $200.00 I should buy it and cut 1/4 of the transom off and hang it up on my great room wall restored. It would look cool as hell. And maybe cut the front 1/4 off and hang it on the other side. Or ****....maybe redo the whole hull and hang it from my 32 foot livingroom celing on the cross beam.

Of even....make it a planter in my front yard....or a really cool mail box. How about a bath tub....or a koi pond! Or even a bird house! A duck boat! Put rails on it and it would be a great snow sleigh! Maybe even a septic tank!

****.....for $200.00 I could think of a 1,000 other uses. Maybe even take a crap in it and send it down the river........

A very eccentric friend of mine bought a plug from a 42' cooper sailboat that was fire damaged. He cleaned it up and hung it from the living room ceiling in his largewaterfront house in Genoa Bay, BC. It was a bit of a conversation piece, to say the least, but very cool and definately unique.

Hardcrab How bad is the deck and built in seats. I have a ski sportster I'm thinking thinking of restoring or the dump. My hull is fine, deck is really shot.
We were going to restore it but I now think it is too far gone, But with better deck Maybe ??????

i would say the deck is in nice condition. the seat has not been cut out, the center well and lid are good, engine hatch : present.
the core has been cut out (which is a plus)
both the deck and hull have a nice outter shape and surface (be it heavilly oxidized)

TAKE A CRAP IN IT AND SEND DOWN THE RIVER ?
WHAT BLASPHEMY!
this is indeed stepping on the toes of religious posts ; politcal issues also!
WHO ARE YOU ? and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH PEARSON ?:eek!:

It would literally be easier to install a mahogany deck on it than restore the fiberglass.......

Thanks Hardcrab I think I'll pass on the Deck. Its over $300 now. If it was a solid glass deck I would be all over it. There seem to be a lot of Donzi projects around, and storing another boat right now is a big problem
