where have I seen this before???

We were in a big boat discussion at the AC boat show about well the history of the boats we love called Donzi and well I couldn't get this out of my head
where have I seen script over block print before as in the donzi script logo??

I know I have seen something like before it on something else then it came to me, think it was accidental or accidentally on purpose???
the comparisions are made everyday, tell me that don't look like the cast donzi logo on the older boats???

It looks very simular to the original script that was one the early or original boats. I have my emblem right here off my 1966 and its damn close. the cursive letering is a little off but overall the same concept.
