It's my main objection with the new Shelby. The "power dome" hood with the two little holes drilled in the top for venting, like they were done with a dremel tool, look cheap and crappy. They showed a concept Shelby last year in New York that had two reverse venting slots with the groves in the hood running back to the windshield, like by 03 Cobra. They probably saved $100 per hood by doing the dremel vents.

You only get one chance at a first impression.

Now going back to that Corvette is a whole other story.
