and i do want the steelers to win. i think it will be a shootout though.

Seahawks - Won 14 of last 15 (only loss - the throwaway game the final game of the season after clinching the #1 seed). Let's not forget the trouncing of Philly 42-0 on Monday night football, or the pummelling of Carolina in the championship last weekend.

I was a 10 year old kid at the Seahawks first ever playoff win - Christmas Eve 1983 over the Broncos. It may have taken us some time since then...(an embarassinly long time) but its finally our time.

Who will watch? I couldn't manage to bring myself to watch either the Seahawks OR the Steelers all season, so I can't force any feelings of excitement about the game.

With football season over, I'm in a sports vacuum until baseball season...unless somebody televises the Frozen Four at an hour I am actually still awake. The months between the effective end of football season and spring last waaayyy too long! Is it summer yet?

I love college hockey (GO Black Bears!), but I'm still holding a grudge against the NHL. Bunch of prima donnas, anyway. Besides, if I wait another year, all the players I hate will have retired...Hull, Stevens...Domi...

Hopefully we'll get the super bowl in HD--and I've got to go with the Steelers (I still remember rooting for them against Dallas back in the day!)
