That is a damn nice boat, but anyone who thinks that it is the best of the last 100 years ain't seen the AlphaZ that Van Dam built!

Had the privilage to see AlphaZ at the Concourse at Lake Tahoe a few years back and that boat is so impressive that it's hard to compare anything else to it. Here are two amazing manufacturers out of Scandinavia though. Dolvik is in Norway and has built quite a few fantastic one-offs. The second shows one of the 38' J-Craft Boats from Sweden of which unfortunately only six where made. His Majesty The King of Sweden has one that he docks at his Villa on the French Riviera, it's named Polaris and the hull is a very light blue.

http://www.batagent.se/?sajt=kopbat_zoom&sprak_id=36Lars, I had the privilege of dining with Carl Gustav when he was only a Prince. His dad, the King, had a 35 Magnum. I smuggled some accessories to Sweden for him (ha ha) when we had the UIM meeting there in 1968. I was the US delegate.
