will my 18 need trimtabs i would like to do without but don't want to kill myself either i know it didn't come with but do i have to worry about porpousing

Just an opinion! V drive boats do not have much in the way of bow lift they just don't porpois much, where the tabs will come in handy is to balance the boat side to side to adjust for passenger weight.
