Saw the completed boat from this patent drawing in the seventies.
It was from outer space then, and still is sort of. The Bat Boats took some of their design ideas from it......

What is it?

I still want to know if anyone in the Annapolis area remembers seeing this thing around 1975. It was called the "SeaKnife." It made this incredible spray that it seemed to fly on and ran completely flat. The designers of the bat boats make reference that this boat influenced the use of the huge wings to counter roll.
