2002 33ZX Engine Hatch

I tried to raise the hatch. The motor runs but the hatch does not raise. It was getting a little noisy the last few times and I noticed a grease fitting which I am not sure when if ever used. How do I get the hatch up far enough to get the quick pin out and any help on locating possible repair parts?

Got the rear hatch UP by lifting with hoe handle and running the motor at the same time. Ordered new lift from Acculift($535 APROX.)

If it were me i wouldn't order the same lift accuator..The one you have only lasted 4 yrs or should i say 2 yrs if you include the winter months..
Do you have the screw type? if so i would try to find a hydrolic type that fits your application....

Do you know the size expanded and shut? I know a guy selling actuators cheap.
