This is the unprotected side of the Island, close by. (a few miles away from my place) Not where I usually play but have been known to in Sailboats :D Last week we had 26 footers here (waves, not boats) :eek: ... Yesterday (this tug pic) was not so bad. (Location depicted by the dot and the arrow in the next pic. This is Junan de Fuca Strait, basically the Pacific Ocean, left side of lower Island, pretty much unprotected waters other than the little Penninsula offered by Port Angeles. (USA) .Winds from the North West really batter us. But, 20 minutes away on the other side of the Island( to the right and inside) it is all but calm :) Where we usually play in the DONZI.
As you can see, we have been getting more rain than we know what to do with. Pretty much the record now. At least we are seeing 55 degrees and snow is non-existant :)
