Any suggestions on Tab Size for the Sweet 16. Just got the boat as a toy to run circles around our 40 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge. Prevoius owner of 29 35 and 41 Formulas and TABS WERE A MUST. Appreciate and information on the handling characterristics of the Sweet 16. PS 1995 with the Merc V-6 and Alpha Drive

12X9" Bennets do a good job, the 16 likes to porpoise at moderate cruise and like all single engine deep V's they wonder at idle speeds. Tabs take care of both issues, use the search feature there is a ton of info as tabs have been hashed and re hashed.

I've got the Bennett Sport tabs and they are great, plus outstanding customer service from the company. Check out lots of pictures regarding placement, some are mounted too far outboard, so that at speed they barely touch the water when dropped all the way down. Sorry this pic doesn't show the whole transom!

Every think LENCO...we've had Lenco 9x12's for 3 years...easy to install, if you do it yourself..No pumps or switches to go bad, no messy fluids either...

Cheaper, and a 5 year warrenty
