The " Inertia" prop , mercs newest offering, is said to be the equivelant of an additional 30 horse power . short article in florida sportsman. they base this on the performance difference of this prop versus a mirage plus, a 2-300 rpm increase . different alloy that is stronger and therefore the blades can be really thin . so far they are only making it to a 22 pitch ... maybe they will go higher if their marketing effort matches the reported performance ...

Hey Poodle et al. Any word yet on 25, 27 pitch props out of the new alloy?
