View Full Version : Temporary engine wiring
To start and engine that isn't wired up, if I get the starter turning, and run a hot wire to the + side of the coil, it should start, correct?

I'm thinking of dropping the FWC 330 horse 350 that's sitting in my 20 Formula in the Minx. I'm never going to have time to finish that project anyway. That's a lot of time and money down the drain. :(

So you think the new motor is bad? Not just a starter issue?
Not looking for a project as Sheila would make me pay dearly, but
if priced right, who knows. 770 313 0660

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. The only thing I'm sure of is that I'm not getting in that bilge again. If the other engine runs, I'll swap them out, then with the engine out of the Minx, I'll take a look at it. I really think that just the starter needs to be shimmed.
