When winterizing, I removed the plastic 'wing type' plugs from the manifolds, two brass plugs from about center of the block on each side, the ps cooler, and water pump hoses. Is there anything else I should be draining? (outside of a bottle of Dos Equis) '96 454 mag

Fuel and water seperator,,,,just replace the filter and make sure you stick a pick or somthring pointy in the brass plug holes in the block to make sure theirs no sand or mud keeping it from draining.....

An excellent point. One that would have saved me a cracked 427 top oiler back in the 70's!

The reason to turn an engine over is if it has an "on" engine sea water pump without a drain (some came that is what I have). Disconnect the outlet hose and tap it over a few times with the coil wire out to insure most the water is out.
