I would like to sponsor a photo contest for the top 3 Donzi photographs in each of the following catagories for 2005 from the registry.

The top three winning places in each catagory will receive a 13" x 19" color print of their winning photo delivered to their door.

The rules are simple. You can only submit one photo per post, but there is no limit to the number of times that you can post. And you must properly catogorize your photo in one of the catagories below! If I have to choose the catagory, I will throw your post out of contention!

There will be five catagories as follows:

Catagory A. Portrait of a person in or near a Donzi.
Catagory B. Picture of a Donzi boat with or without a person in the boat.
Catagory C. Landscape picture, with a Donzi boat in the picture.
Catagory D. Bikini Photo with a Donzi boat somewhere visible in the picture.
Catagory E. Open catagory for any photograph of a nautical nature.

I have assembled a team of qualified experts, (in the Bikini area at least) to serve as impartial judges in this event.

All submissions must be posted by midnight on December 31st, Pacific Time.

Winning photos will stay the property of the poster other than they will need to send me as good a file as possible so that I can produce a nice size print.

All judges including myself have removed themselves as contestants.

Wes,
You should change your screen name to "STIRTHEPOT" If you look close you see that it has a nice shine on her. So we know who we can rule out.

Anyway that would be Gus.

Moody, I'm sure he would love to do it for you. He almost did TR4 for us but we had no way to comunicate with him or pick him up at the airport, let alone find the airport. BUT that was because DonCig was driving and asking little kids where the airport was. (hehe, I love it when he's nowhere to be found).
Mike, You got a pit? I bet Lenny's over there all the time. Next time you get to make the fajitas.

First of all I would like to thank all of the participats with their great shots.
I was a little surprised by the lack of Catagory D photos (Bikini Photos with a Donzi).

The winners were based on a number of criteria which will help you in next years competition.
Composition, proper exposure, focus, creativity, and WOW factor.

The winners please:
Cat. E - 1st place Onesubdvr with the great shot of Cuda's Formula 302
Cat. D - 1st place RedDog with the Leg shot.
Honorable mention - Farmer TX with his beautiful daugher and his nice Crit.
Cat. C - 1st place ChromeGorilla with the Lighthouse shot.
Honorable mention - RedDog with the Center Hill Lake shot, great shot but the wrong catagory. You will still get a print of this shot since it is so nice.
Cat. B - Tony with the nice shot of the people in the red 16.
Honorable mention - Tbrocolli with the Red & White 22 action shot. You will get a print of this photo since it was a very close match.
Cat. A - Chili 18 with the first post. Nice Donzi, beautiful lady!

Now here is what you need to do. Send me your full name and mailing address and also email me the largest .jpg, .tiff, or raw file of your winning photo so that i can put them in Adobe photoshop and print them out at 13 x 19. If I do not receive a suitable file then you will loose your position and the 2nd place contestant will move into first place and get the print.
Please email me at dont@gssi.us. There is no limit to the file size that I can receive.

Great work and lets get to work on 2006!

I have received all but one of the winning pictures, (RedDog Leg Shot), and I have completed all the prints and they are ready to ship out on Monday.

Thanks and get ready for the next contest. It will be for a 2007 Donzi calander using photos from the 2006 Donzi boating events.

I will need around a 4 mega pixel raw file for the calander shots, or a 2MB .jpg file.
