Question:
Is there anything in your Captain's certification that empowers you to
perform legal marriages?
Just wondering if that was formally recognized.

Be careful now though, you just assumed some extra legal baggage as a certified Captain.

Now that would be a liability !!!!!!! I just received the under 100 ton license .The 100 ton or master license requires a few more classroom hours along with more time on the water . i think you need to be a capt. for a year before taking the master test . that will be next year i suppose . Always good to have something to fall back on !
