Thanks to all our veterans and active duty service men and women, and especially to my family: Lt. Col. Matthew "Digger" Howard, USMC, his brother, CDR Mark Howard, USN (known here as "Howe"), their Papa, who served with the U.S. Navy in WWII and Korea, my uncles, Gordon Buchanan, who served on the USS New Jersey in the Korean War, and Bryan Buchanan, USA, who served in the 82d Airborne.

Bless them all, and many thanks!
