A question of about board time

Not sure how many have noticed that the boards posted time is always 10-12 minutes fast, try it answer a post then check the time.
There is a nice little program in the down load section of the site below that will let anyone interested set their machine to within a fraction of a second of the correct time.

Yeah Phil, I noticed it when closing auctions. People would think they had extra time to bid which is why I used nist.time.gov/ time. The board server is 14 minutes off. For most things it doesn't matter, but in clsoing auctions it did.
