Mario,

-------Well, heres yet another one. Number 47 got built in 1972. Only six boats between this Corsican and mine in 1976. X-18 was taking most of the interest as far as up-graded 18s by this point, IMHO. Looks pretty nice, although that first bid may be a bit tough as he doesnt give much of a description. Super color combo!!! Good luck to him.............Bill S

...I'd be on this like white on rice if things were "different" at this particular moment... and it wasn't sooo much money.

Point Roberts, I was there on Thursday. About 30 minutes from Mike Millers house, and across the Border. She is a Salt Water boat, cuz there aint nothing anywhere around here that isn't. Must have been launched out of Lighthouse Park when used, if ever. Tiny little chunk of land that juts down from Canada and is below the 49th. http://www.donzi.net/photos1/pt._roberts.bmp

Jim, you need to buy a place there. It is extrememly affordable still, as it is hard for USA people to come here back and forth daily while living in Washington, USA. It is basically a summer place for most US citizens. It has all the amenities mind you. Corner store, bar, restuarant, beachfront, boat launch, large Marina. Park, golf course etc. TINY place, very.

Sorry Bill,
Missed this one, went away for three days of BMW racing . . .

but as I gather it's hull number 47.

what were the colors? Power? and location?

Did you ever hear what the hull number of the red one in Canada was?

Mario,

--------Yellow and white. I think it said 351/Volvo.
--------Fella with the red/white TRS boat has never been back on the board and his E-mail is blocked. Still waiting.
--------You can tell from Lennys posts where the yellow boat resides. I guess he had a change of heart on the sale???.........Bill S

Mark (Polly) email them to me and I will put them up. I will also try and find out where the house is in Pt. Roberts and pay him a visit.

-----So Lenny, is Pt. Roberts part of Canada or some little corner of the USA thats been completely forgotten???...........Bill S

Bill, it is AMERICA. Not Canada. It has a border crossing like any other only there is NOWHERE to go. A LOT or Megayachts stay there year round as people fly in and then cruise the San Juan Islands (US islands) and the Gulf Islands (Canadian)

The place is only about a 1000 acres in size. American citizens have to drive up through Washington, cross the border into Canada and then drive around, (as you can see) to Pt. Roberts and go through the border again to gain entry BACK into the USA. Same process in reverese when leaving.

The joke is, at the Border, are you bringing (leaving) anything into the Country??? Well, duh, there is nothing here. What could I possibly buy?

The place is Beautiful. I will post a couple of pics for you. :D

Marina is to the right, Vancouver and Mountains in the background. Victoria (Island) is straight down off the page and across the Georgia Strait. Oh, and apparently there is a Corsican somewhere in one of those houses. That IS the entire place. You see all of it. Border is to the left side of the page, about half way up.

Not the same boat. The one in Pt. Roberts WAS a Corsican. It is somewhere, under a garage lean to, in that picture above... ;)

Lenny,

-------I read the history. That is wild. Is it my imagination or is the ground cover much greener on the US side???...........Bill S
