I am finalizing a deal on an 01' 38Daytona with 600's. One of the things that seemed odd to me was the props are turning in instead of out. What affects will this have on handling? I know this supposedly improves top end, but 1-2mph isn't worth a loose ride.

Thanks

Your question is an old more then well disputed one, I do not think there is a pat answer. The Bravo's rotation can easily changed, try testing on your own to see how it works out on yours. I would look forward to more input on this age old ?????????

I have a 33ZX that props turn in on. It is much more difficult when backing into a slip at first but you will get use to it. I have been told that you will loose top end on these boats if you switch the prop rotation outside. You will not notice a difference when going forward.

DONT switch props, switch the drives ...if you have bravos...your drives are use to spinning one way under hard acceleration and some thing could brake inside the drive i would leave it alone.....good luck.
