My friend Kurt, who is restoring the Bertram called me this afternoon. He was bringing it back to Deland from Daytona to put under a shed so he can continue working on it. He was pulling it with a half ton Chevy. Coming thru town, a light turned on him, and he got on the brakes hard. Turns out he broke the rotor on the front right wheel.

As usual, it took a Ford to complete the job at hand.

Nice looking Bertrum. Hope Wilma doesn't do a number on the shed it's being stored in. Had a Chevy Tahoe that I was towing my 22 Classic with. Had to lock it all up going thru Atlanta in rush hour traffic on my way to the gathering down in Alabama. Darn ABS was never the same after that, but at least the brakes stayed together.
