Cuba, can you see it on a good day... ???

not from my house :rolleyes: but from a Tuna Tower or ship in Key West?
It seems to be about 130 miles from the Lower Keys, is it visible in perfect conditions?

Just curious as I watch Wilma come in...

The horizon is at about 30M with no influence, but with some altitude, do you see it? It MUST be frustrating for some... :(

Try about 92 miles from Key West, Lenny. I've never seen it from there, but clear skies from a plane coming in...probably.

No you can't see Cuba from Fla..

Last January we took a Western Carribean cruise....you know, Key West, Mexico, etc....
Well several hours after leaving Key West you parallel the mountains of Western Cuba for a long time.
