I lived in Kansas (not far from Yoder, KS, the largest Amish community outside of Pennsylvania) for a while, and I have to tell you, the Amish are not afraid to party! The Amish teens used to drive their buggies out into the country, change out of their Amish garb and into modern clothing, and start swilling beer...and I knew one Amish guy who was at a party and got so drunk he fell off the roof of his house and broke his leg...
