 Guess I have to thank my germanic cousins for another nice contribution to the boating community. No wonder it's the third generation Frauschers' building these beauties in the alps. Here's a link to a few more photos.Prost and Happy Octoberfests!http://www.bootcenter.com/english/boote/frauscher%20757%20st.tropez_eng.html

Thanks the link worked fine this morning, I got a big kick out of seeing they also build the H-Boat. It was designed in Sweden and a fantastic boat and the largest one design fleet in Europe, I campaigned here one for about 10 years. My boat with Jonathan Chandler the former captain of the Maxi Boomerang at my helm me doing the tuning won one of the Block Island races, I placed second and third in two others. I owned a bunch of blow boats the only one that ever surpassed my H-Boat was my Star boat, that was a master piece of sailing perfection. Though I blast around in my Donzi these days my thoughts go to sailing more often then not it is a sport like no other.

Phil,
The reason I found that site was because I was doing some research on an H Boat.
San Francisco Bay is better suited for sailing and I am thinking about this boat for the bay.

Well Eugene, I must say You are lucky I'm not in the market for a day boat for the moment 'cause this is an incredible deal in a Swedes eyes. Most guys on the forum are back east so I guess You are not worried one of them is going to beat You to this one. A Magnum 27 and now an H-Boat, You sure know what the fine things in life are! An eloge to Phil for Your years of involvement with the H-Boat and the Star boat. I got a little nostalgic today from this thread, thanks guys! :boat: :sweden:

:smileybo: Well we do produce some nice blond bombshells for the movie industry as are well known, but I thought You guys would start salivating over this one.http://www.batagent.se/?sajt=kopbat_zoom&sprak_id=36
This boat was made in 2001 and 2002, the first sold to the King of Sweden and then only five more followed before the manufacturer realized that they had gone overboard as far as luxery and could not make a profit in the limited market they could reach. When you see one of these 38 footers doing 50 knots you won't forget it if you are into boats! To bad Sweden only has one prince and two princesses, if the Royal Family of Sweden was the size of the Saudi Royal Family we regular commoners would at least have a few more beauties like this one showing up on the used market. One of the six boats are on the market now for about $350,000. Production cost was almost twice that :eek!:
