Quick visual, stripped alternator adjusting bolt, improperly adjusted throttle cable requiring a spring and a filthy hole that is probably hiding more. What are my old eyes missing?

The motor was painted with the alt. belt in place!!! I like the custom throttle return spring too! What do I win? (on second look, maybe the alt. was painted with the belt in place). Now, what do I win?

That is the sun shining into the hole you can see it on the belt & bracket of the alternator that was probably changed awhile back or he just did not bother to wipe the belt dust off the flame arrester cover.

I'm thinking the alternator was painted in place since the belt and bracket are painted silver.
