Trying to find out specs on this boat.

It has twin 470's

Anyone know where I can find out some info....

weight?
Speed?
LOA?

Is there a resource on line? Other boat builders sometimes have previos years specs, but I find nothing on the Donzi web site?

What can you tell me about the 33' Daytona?

Thanks
Mark

470's as in HP500 carb. engines.
A 2000 =
Speed 78-80
weight 9700-9900 dry
dont rember the LOA

98-99 specs are different

What is the difference between the ZX and the Daytona?

The Daytona has SOME Kevlar in the layup, Lab props, Fancy paint and interior
and 2000 and later were "stick built" IE: no liner.

The Daytona's are somewhere around 600lbs lighter as well. They have the above mentioned differences plus they typically have a "bolstered" rear seat and an upgraded sound system. The other performance difference is extension boxes, although I don't know how much improvement that is going to yield.

So the Daytona is a package or option on the ZX????

Does anyone know where I can get more info on this boat?

Yes thats correct, the Daytona is an option for the ZX line, what more info are you looking for?.

Seems like all of your questions have been answered thus far.

Welcome to the board, glad to be of help.......

I'm sure someone here will know the specs of the 33ZX. All the daytona does is adds the above mentioned options to the standard ZX.
I have spoken with folks whom run the daytona/500efi package and have heard speeds as high as about 83. A standard ZX with 500's should typically see high 70's to 80. Don't know what else you need, but let us know and I'll try and get anything else off of one of my old brochures.

It seems like the LOA was around 32'6 or close to. weight on a daytona probably around 9400lbs, ZX 9800lbs.

Any known problems with this model?

Are graphics stickers or in the Gel?

Anything a potential buyer should look at specifically?

Anyone have an approximate value on the boat? Not necessarily NADA, but true life sales numbers?

Is there somewhere I can see the 2000 brochure on line?

Can I order one some where?

That boat should be worth 120-140depending on condition. NADA will tell you a little higher, but that range should give you a starting point.

As for the brochure, I'm sure there are some around, but you might be best off just calling Donzi directly and seeing if they can help you out.
