If anybody's interested, there is a gathering of antique and classic boats this weekend, October 7 and 8, at Jamestown Resort on Lake Cumberland, KY. Should be about 40 old boats there, mostly wooden. I'll be there with "Slow Dancing." BTW, according to ACBS, a "classic" is a boat built up to 1968. Some Donzis qualify!

That sounds like a good time Tom. Don't forget to keep an eye out when you run the lake, June too. A floating log would play hell with that wood bottom!!

a couple of times over the past month.

The lake is approaching winter pool levels, meaning it is down about thirty feet. All of the sticks are up on the beaches. Shouldn't be a problem.

The leaves and the weather are changing. Place should be gorgeous!

Have a good time Tom!

Tom,
Will you and June be coming to the Annual Wooden Boat Show shindig at Mt. Dora in the Spring?

I guess, if we do smack a log, the boat simple returns to it's natural state - toothpicks! Yes Mark, we plan to be at Mt. Dora in March, once again. We'll see a bunch of you guys there.
Y'all have fun at Sarasota and say hi to Mikey for me.
