Is there a good p2p sharing site ( for non copywrite infringing downloads) now that the RIAA has shut down Winmx?

Thanks
Mike

Used to be edonkey. Now along with WinMX they have shut down also due to a stop order by the RIAA. Read all about it here.

I'm sure another P2P will show up soon that will be super popular. Surf around and you'll find it.

I've been using Limewire for years, and it works great. www.limewire.com Give it a shot. I haven't used it in a couple of weeks, but it still worked back then. It runs on the gnutella network....

These guys used to do alot of music stuff, but they've since posted several warnings about the legalities of using the board / etc.

However, it has worked pretty good for me, but it's the only one I've ever used.

I have used several different sites....but now most have either been taken over by "Big Bro" or users are being tracked. I guess Limewire is fairly safe, but Kazaa is being watched and is in court as we speak....don't quote me on this as it has come from questionable sources ;) he he he.

Winmx is moving offshore to avoid the hassels. We will see what happens.

winmx is not gone. You can still get a list of servers and continue like there is no tomorrow.
