For sale- 2005 22' Donzi classic with 496HO. Buy with peace of mind. Motor and drive under warranty untill July of 2010. $44,000 Price includes a 2004 Loadmaster aluminum trailer with torsion axles and drum brakes. Also included are all life vests, safety equipement, brand new-never used Anchor shade, fenders w/ covers and anchors. The boat runs very strong. Runs 71-73 MPH GPS with 4 passengers and fuel. Will run 75-77 running light.
Interior is excellent condition with no rips, tears, stains or discoloring. It is still very white. Skeg has about 1/4" broken off bottom but has had zero effect on boat. Plastic 496HO motor cover removed and replaced with custom BoatBling cowling ( www.boatbling.net ) that is custom painted and has Donzi logo laser etched in it as well. I absolutely love this boat and will buy a new one in next year or two. Right now I am starting new career and buying my first home so boating is going on the back burner for a short time. This is by far the hardest post I have ever written. Boat is located in the Jacksonville, FL area until the end of October. Then boat will be in South Carolina. If you have any questions or would like to see boat in person or arrange a sea trial please call me or email. If I don't answer please leave name and number and I will return you call promptly.

First Geoo, and now you??.....but for Anyone considering this 22',it is one stock fast and solid boat... no banging, and no "loose" noise of any kinda when in rough water!

Sorry to hear it Scott, hope you'll be back in the game again soon!

Hopefully it will be someone with Taste and Class, and a more realistic view of Sports Dominance and Excellence. :banghead:

I don't understand, I guess...

If the boat is fast and together and your thinking of purchasing again in a year or two,why not just keep it?
For a rig that you love, it seems to me easy enough to start it once-a-month,keep the batteries charged, put Sta-bil in the gas,and hang on to it.
Good luck in any case....

Great idea for boating but doesn't swap boat equity for housing equity now.

Hay hay hay now!!!

I wouldn't insult you or your boat like that, it is easily worth what you're asking for it.

Now as far as a trade straight up for the Rag,....come on, it is the world's fastest known Ragazza, for a 77 +/- mph 22 Classic, sounds good to me!! ;) .

Seriously, I can't imagine a boat better taken care of, I hope you screen those that are interested, because it needs to go to another good home!!

I happen to have a 2005 Donzi price list in front of me.

22 Classic 496 Mag HO Bravo:.........$55,979.00
Colored Gelcoat Hullsides (White) not standard...$714.00

Chrome doesn't list any other options..other than a trailer..What's that worth?? I'm sure there are other options..yet Un-Named.

Everything on a Donzi Classic is "A La Carte." For example: A "Rockford Stereo/MB Quart" is $2707.00.

There must be someone out there who needs to move up. ??? :smash:

My '05 22C listed for 62,000 w/colored sides, dual bats., depth sounder, 4 spkr. CD stereo, 496 HO, AE fairing and silent choice exh.(is that an option?) I paid 52,500 w/ trailer. Mr. Gorilla's boat is worth his price with the warranty and is probably still like new (mine is). What options do you have Chrome?

No Silent Choice on the list:

Exh, Quick and Quiet II; $1,121.00
Exh, Quick and Quiet Plus: $1.736.00
Dual Batterys: $200.00
Depth Sounder, Digital: $321.00
Stereo,Sony, AM/FM/Cd w/4Speakers: $1,121.00
AE Fairing: Not Listed

Quick and Quiet IS Legal on Lake Winni. Silent Choice is not.

It has NO options. When I ordered it I said I want a 22C with a 496HO, nuttin else as I didn't need it. This is what is included.... all vests, lines, 2 anchors, throwable type 5, prop cover, brand new anchor shade, Boat Bling motor cover and original motor fairing and a handheld color GPS chartplotter and software. (thanks Wayne....got it back today in the mail.)

So no stereo, switchable exhaust, depth finder or dual batteries.

The price is not set in stone so if anyone has any questions please feel free to call me. The boat may make some seadog events in the next 2-6 months..... (hint hint) so if you would like to ride with me in the boat and sea trial it there would be a great opportunity to see the boat run strong.

This will move quick in a couple months when everyone gets boat fever. I see in post #30 your price is $41,500. Chrome, I would change the price in the first post if that is your new asking price. (I'd also note that this boat goes 77 mph)

Winter and all ya know...... Hopefully it gets some interest this spring....

UPDATE.... this weekend I am changing motor oil, drive lube and fuel filter. Greasing all fittings as well. I am also putting new brake drums and bearings on the trailer as well. Has seen about 2 seasons of fresh and salt water use on the trailer so I figure this is a good a time as any to refresh it, especially for the amount of towing I do. Getting ready for SEADOGS in Miami 06 and the rest of the season...

ChromeGorilla

Yes the boat is still for sale. New battery and 4 brand new tires as of Feb.

I am asking $44,000 as the selling season is upon us. If you have any questions regarding the boat/trailer or the asking price, please feel free to email me at varsanyi@bellsouth.net or call @ 904-535-4349

Also worth noting with increased costs, a brand new 22 with same power, trailer and warranty is at least $20K more....

The motor and outdrive are under warranty untill Jul of 2010.

Interest is starting to pick up in the last 3 weeks as I have started to field some calls.

Thanks, Scott Varsanyi aka Chromegorilla

LOL, you guys are killing me....

I gave my camera to my dads friend who was sitting on the transom. I showed him how to record video (hit "record" button and let go. Press again to stop) Well he held it down and didn't get what would have been a great shot. I didn't know until later that night he missed it. The video you saw was from my dads camera which, as you see, had a perfect line of sight through his bimini top.... God I hate bimini's.... :fire:

Well, last chance for a great deal. 42,500 for boat and trailer. 4 years of warranty lefton motor and drive that is fully transferable. Plus I am willing to deliver anywhere between Miami and DC.

Wife is killin me..... since calls have been coming in she's getting sentimental about the boat. We have decided if the boat doesn't sell by the end of June we are going to keep it.

The price is firm.

Aww man..... yer killin me!!!!!!!! I have the same feeling as well though.... hoping it doesn't sell. I am lucky enough to be in a position where I really don't have to sell it. Figured I'd put it out there and if it sold, great, I could go forward with some plans.... if not..... I continue to live happily and enjoy our boat.... win win in my eyes....
