We faired well. After 15 hours on the road with seven dogs, we arrived in Palestine, (East Texas). Drove back during the storm to beat the crowd. Trees down, some minor damage. It was great to see our house, barn, boats all OK. We'd written them off in our minds... that's a humbling feeling.

Some did not fair so well. Annie and Lane McLenna, owner of the famous Awesome Cat "Warcat" died in an accident on the same road we were on. Very sad...

I did not know those individuals but have admired their boat OFTEN! Sad to hear of the loss.
