I've seen some other posts about the dissapointment that you have with your local teams. I'm trying to determine if there is anyone who thinks their city's teams have dissapointed as consistently as ours.

First, our one good team: The Seattle SuperSonics.
Established in 1967
3 Campionship Appearances - 78,79,96
1 Championship 1979
21 Playoff appearances

The Seattle Mariners:
Established in 1977
2001 - won 116 games - tied for the most wins in a season in MLB history - failed to make it to the World Series
3 AL Championship appearances
4 Playoff appearances in 28 years
99 Losses last year
on pace for 100 this year

The Seattle Seahawks - Mediocrity at it's finest:
Established in 1976
1 AFC Championship appearance 1983
Most recent playoff win - Wildcard victory 1984

Seattle Sports Summary:
124 years of combined professional sports seasons - 1 Championship - 27 Years ago.
2 major sports franchises who have NEVER APPEARED in the championship game.
1 major sports franchise that has not won a playoff game in 21 YEARS.

So, is there anyone worse than that?

EG

BTW - we did have a College Football National Championship 14 years ago, but my once mighty Huskies have fallen too far to even think about  :splat:

Until recently... Boston Red Sox... 86 YEARS of torment... however that was erased last year when the NY Yankees suffered the worst collapse in proffesional sports history.... WOOHOO!! GO SOX!
