Okay - about a month and a half back, Cliff posted that I got my new bike (a 1200 Harley Sportster).

Well, now it is my turn to post for him.

Here is his new bike. It is a 2005 BMW K 1200 S. He is very happily enjoying it.

Very nice bike!

Deb and I spent the day riding down A1A. It was a great day on the bikes. :)

How do you like your Sporty?

--------Man,,,, BMW bikes have changed so much in the last decade. They are definetly CQQL now. Neighbor has more of a cruisin Beemer and the amount of high-tec stuff on it is simply amazing. Cliff, love your ride, buddy. Color is cool as well. Makes me want to get on two wheels again, and not the rear two like I spent so long doing (drag racing)!!!!!!..........Bill S

Now that's MY kind of bike!!!!!!!
All of you can have every Harley ever built.
BMW was the first bike (well, streetworthy bike anyway) I ever owned.
1960 it was, and it was a '50 model a GI had brought back from Germany.
I paid $100.00 for it. I bet it would be worth 2-4K today.
Good going Cliff!! :smash: :yippie:

Yeah - I am really enjoying my Harley - not because it's a Harley - but just because I am so comfortable on it.

However, more importantly at this point - this is the bike he fell in love with - so it is the one that we got him. AND, for me, I think he looks absolutely awesome on it. Then again, I may be biased.

.
I know what you mean. I have a Harley Softail, and a Suzuki Boulevard. I rode the Boulevard today, just because it's a more comfortable bike to ride, and I feel safer on it. When we just ride around town, I'll ride the Harley. I like 'em both, and don't care what name is on it. Today, on the way back from Daytona, I asked Deb if she wanted to switch bikes. We did, and she rode back to Deland on my Road Queen. It was nice to switch bikes, because it gives both our backs a different seating position, instead of sitting the same way all day. I asked her how she liked it, and she said she could ride that bike all day. It pretty much rides itself. :)

Cliff- Congradulations! Great Ride.

Once you get used to 0-60 in 2.8 seconds are you still going to get an adrenaline rush on the water? A nice problem to have to ponder

Congrats to ya. Just sold my BMW. Going to look at some Rocket III s. A friend that goes through a few bikes a year (finds fault or gets bored with them) purchased one. Says he thinks this is a keeper.

Does this mean that you are selling the "Rasta DMax"?

If so can I please be first in line!

The pic was taken on the road with Cliff on the way to LG's dust off this last spring. I can now only imagine his expression as he accelerates thru the gears on that puppy.

Enjoy the bike!

It'd be more like 3.2 seconds, but who's keeping track?

No. Really. Have you seen Cliff?

Cliff....Ya knew that pic had to come out sooner or later.

I have an orange reflective vest that you can have along with an orange motor. Come on down to PU the stuff, after all you know where I live!

Starter has been rebuilt and putting it back in tonight..

KJ

Ps. Boxy...the vest that I want to give to Cliff has "Caution-Student" in reflective letters written on back.

OK , I'll put mine also as its sharing time. Bought it 6 months ago and have enjoyed it so far. The BMW looks like its ready for a long road trip. Not something I would want to do on this bike , fun though! Cuda, looks like you two enjoyed A1A!

Beatram,
Its an 84 XLX, all original which came with a 1000 engine. Last year for the shovelheads. Thanks for asking!
Poodle, are you sizing down the pics to fit?
