I think (try to think) that my boat does NOT have the 40 US gallon tank that so many have. That translates into 33 IMPERIAL gallons of fuel but I KNOW that I can only get about 20 IMP gallons into from empty.

It should cost me about $177 CAN bucks to fill this thing. (here). I seem to only be able to get about $110.00 CAN bucks into it. That translates into 20 Imperial gallons and 25 US gallons.

Do I have a twenty five gallon tank???

I replaced my 25 gallons tank with an exact remake.
I have the regular non step storage locker.

My '66 18 came with a 25 gallon steel tank. I replaced it with a 35 gallon tank of my own design without modifying the floor storage well. If you measure the length of the tank (yes you can) I expect you will find it matches pretty close the drawings of the 16 Ski Sporter tank you have. I would be suprised if your tank was not 25 gal.
