It's official, my GPS numbers are in!

I've felt good about my Turbo 1, 22 pitch prop and had seen 62 on the speedometer but have been looking forward to getting that verified by GPS.

This morning, I had the chance to take my neighbor out and he brought along his handheld GPS unit.

The final verdict? With 2 full-grown men and a full tank of gas, we hit 59.0 mph (dash speedo said 62-ish). All along the speend range, the variation was +/- 3 mph.

I'm sure with just me and less gas that I'll break 60! Whoot!

good deal ! I had mine verified by radar today .... because I got a stinking ticket ! 63 in a 30 zone .... Didn't get a break on the ticket ... 65 bucks... kinda worth it though ! I shouldn't have stopped to pick up a towable that flew out of a boat going the other way :biggrin: what ratio do you have in your outdrive ?

Bummer about the ticket...... but you got off cheap. Around here, that kind of ticket would be over $200. :eek:

My outdrive ratio is 1.62.

Speed is good.

I have the same ratio as is in yours . I am turning a 25 laser2 .
