The GA governor today in his infinite wisdom announced something to the effect that Georgia and especially Atlanta would receive no more gas shipments until next week.......can you say Instant Panic and Long Gas Lines and Immediate Price Hikes?? I observed prices going up 60 cents a gallon in just hours. This afternoon lines were out into the streets and many stations already say "no gas".

Huge spread here in twin cities, MN. 2.59 - 3.29 yesterday. Most at 2.99 - 3.10 today. Wait till ya get your heat bill this winter :kaioken: You would think having a Texas oil guy for president USA would have an advantage for low gas prices. Not!

OH ya, go and get a locking gas cap for your car/truck/bike/boat/ etc. now while they are 2 dollars. They will magically be 10 bucks before ya know it.

We were at $3.09 yesterday when I went to pick up my daughter at 4pm. I took her back to her mother at 7pm and reg gas was up to $3.19 east of Columbus,OH. Haven't been out yet today, but I suspect with the holiday weekend and situation in Lousianna, prices will be even higher today. I got lucky and filled up Tuesday afternoon for $2.37 for reg. Still cost me over $50 for my Tahoo. Looking at Honda Civics for future transportation. :)
