I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with this... I rerember last year (2004) was the 40th anniversary for Donzi. I've seen a so-called 30th annivserary edition classic from 1996, and a 25th anniversary edition classic from 1988. These numbers don't add up correctly! Is there a reason for this?

well I think you have to take into account the years and the models???
2004 was the 40th for what???? the 16 the hornet and the sportsman?? or the company??? yes it has been discussed before is it a true milestone being celebrated ????
or is it a marketing scheme for the owners at the time???
an 18 a 16 and a 22 all have different birthdays, and different Daddies so to speak :)

but an aniiv edition or an LE all have unique color schemes too

So, who is yo' Donzi daddy????? We all know Don was the 16's daddy; who "fathered" the 18 and 22??

As long as I am asking, what are the birthday years for the 18 and 22 (given that the 16 was born in '64)?
