View Full Version : switchable exhaust silencers to standard tips?

How hard would it be to change these switchable exhaust silencers to standard exhaust tips? This is a boat I'm looking at buying.

Not very hard, those look like bolt ons so easy off (they might even fall off with a fast ride), then remove the existing tailpipes, measure and order ones that will slide right in and fit.

you want to buy the short angled tips if you ever go for it, like others said the long ones are just to much on a classic

I bought a set like yours for my 18 but sold it before I had chance to install them. They will look good on the 22. :smile:

not preticuarly. i have gibson mufflers on mine. and if those are clamp on the original tips should still be there under the muffler. but to me the $250.00 ticket for being out of sound law complience is worth a little uggliness.
