Hello guys and how are you... I have a 1987 and a 1988 Donzi Z-33.... according to Loadmaster trailers... the 1987 is listed at 6,300lbs dry weight and the 1988 is listed at 8,100lbs dry weight.

What is the deal??? I'm wondering if there is a typo here... I bet that the 8,100lbs is actually the loaded weight (with gas). They came with a 175 gallon tank so that would make sense.

Thanks and any help is appreciated.

Were different power packages offered? Twin 454's or Twin 350's ??? Seems silly to put 350's in such a big boat ? Could be the gas - Gas comes in at 6lbs per gallon, but your still 750 lbs off.

The last time I checked the 29 it was 7000 without a bunch of parts.I plan on checking it again, since we have her together and a full tank. I have a 10,000 lb trailer.

My guess is the 33 is closer to 9000 lbs or more.

I would go heavier than needed.

You got to have at least a 10,000 trailer. I have a 12,000 trailer and sometimes I'm scared that it's too small.

Don't go cheap with the trailer......Joe Griffith says: "you don't want to have trailer problems, dude."
