Anyone near San Francisco or Yountville

I have some friends going out Sept 28-29 and are trying to get reservations at "The French Laundry" They say they need to made a month in advance, any help would be appreciated.

Phil,
They can almost forget about it. The French Laundry was closed for about a year for renovation. They opened back up and reservations are impossible to get.
We have three differrent people in our family that have been calling up the evening of the prior month for reservations and still have not been able to get in.
If they want another recommendation for San Francisco they should try Restaurant Gary Danko or Masa's. They are at the same level of food and service. Gary Danko is my preference.

Im in Frisco right now and Scomas has been my favorite place. Gonna try Asia de Cuba 2nite see how it is.
