View Full Version : New boat
It ain't a Donzi, but I'm picking up this little sweety Tuesday. :)
It's over on the other side of Florida, so I had a buddy of mine take a look at it for me yesterday. He said I shouldn't buy it...................because it would look better at his house. :)
It's been completely redone, glass work, bottom blueprinted, new gel, gaffrig guages, cd player, new seats, and a jack plate.
The trailer is a 2002 Rolls aluminum.

So Joe, what is it?
Checkmate, 14 footer. Any guesses on what year this boat is? :)
It's a 1970. The guy's father bought it brand new, then the son had the resto done.

Nice Joe,
I've been looking as some boats like that recently too, that and Jet boats,.... looks good, I expect to see more pictures when you get it to your house :biggrin.: . I think they make perfect boats for all the inland boating in Florida

Cuda; Now that you have one boat for each day of the week, it will make life much simpler for you.You no longer have to decide which boat, just rotate..
Between the boats, bikes, all terrains, and God knows what else you have, when the H**L do you have time to work?????????
Green with envy Ed.......... ENJOY

I hope Job #1 is to peel off the registration stickers off the deck. What the hell were they thinking?
Nice find, Hope we don't lose you to the Checkmate board.

I fortunate that where I live, I'm a mile away from the boat launch on the St John's for boating and fishing, a mile and a half from the Ocala National Forest with 388,000 acres to ride the four wheeler in, and lots of back roads to ride the bikes. So that enables us to play when we don't have a lot of time. We can come home from work some days, and still have time to do any of those three. :)

If it's too scary, you'll see it in the classifieds pretty quickly. I like having fun, but risking my life is not what I consider fun. I never have.

Good point. I hope they're not painted on. :fire:
