There is an 1983 18' on EBAY as well. I'm not sure about the brown color though. However he also mentions that he has a 1967 as well with a cobra engine that he claims will run 80 mph! It looks like quite a project though.

Does anyone know anything about this boat? I have bid in the auction for it. His reserve is not met, can anyone tell me what a fair price for this boat would be?

thanks,

Jeff

bidding just ended at $15100 reserve not met. Not sure if anyone wants me to possibly check this out. Turns out, the boat is relatively close to me. I pass through that area on my way to the 1000 islands. I may be able to take a look.

Hi,

I have made the owner an offer, and waiting to hear back... When are you headed up to the 1000 islands?

Hi,

I finally heard back from the seller, but after some negotiation they had decided to raise their asking price substantially... I was a bit shocked because I knew their reserve on ebay was 18k, and now they wanted a few thousand more! So this to be a dead issue for me, but I believe they still have it for sale.

cheers,

Jeff

LOL - He seems like a real charmer! Some of those questions are pretty stupid though. I am surprised how high the bidding is at this point.

You can subtract about 15-20 MPH from the "80" regardless,... it has a 270 Volvo, not a slippery leg and no trim, , decals are wrong, lots of stuff is. I am not critisizing, just pointing things out.

I would "consider it" at $5-7 K ... but that is just me.
