could someone tell me how to clean marble in a shower seam to not have been sealed
soap scum
any help would be appreciated

The first thing I would suggest is to get a water softener. I would suggest Kinetico. It's the most efficient, longest lasting, with the least maintenance on the market.
But to clean it may be difficult. You should be careful using anything with acid in it as it will dissolve the marble while it cleans it. Marble is 100% calcium carbonate and is very soft.
I've seen people remove film with a single edge razor blade. Once the excess is gone, try some distilled water and a mild detergent.

George is right, DO NOT USE ACID. Marble is very soft too, so you want to go easy on anything abrasive.

Also, never lay a lit cigarette on a custom cut piece of marble. Don't ask me how I know this. :frown:

One of the "Magic Eraser" products might do the trick. They are awesome for removing soap scum off of tile and glass.
