View Full Version : 18' Project Boat
I know it's July but I'm thinking about finding an 18' project boat to keep me busy during the winter. I'm not concerned with the engine or drive although I will end up using a Merc drive. Let me know if anything comes across your radar screen.

Check out the 72 X-18 in Donzi's for sale. I checked it out and drove it, but it looked to be a bit more of a project than I could take on right now. Hull looked strong, and engine felt real beefy.

SAM, Did you get my e-mail about '72 X-18 in Michigan?
I haven't been home in a few days to check my e-mail, I'll check it out tonight.
Thanks
Sam
Just thought I would put this back to the top, I'm still looking for the right boat.

I have the X18 Chevy 350/Merc TRS boat on the west coast, it's not a project boat, but there is always something you could find to upgrade.
I'll deliver it.

Well, I was planning to make it look as nice as Scott Pearson's boat. Now, that's a project! LOL:smile:
